The former head of the Moscow anti-doping laboratory, and now the informant of the world anti-doping Agency (WADA) Grigory Rodchenkov continues to testify about the doping scandal in Russia. On the eve in the new film by journalist, Hyo Seppelt, which was shown on German TV channel ARD, Grigory Rodchenkov said that all the orders at the time was from the President of Russia Vladimir Putin. Evidence he has provided, but said the President was aware of the existence of a doping program in the country.
“I told people the truth. These things have an impact on politics and history. Success at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Putin made aggressive. Russia is a country without morals and shame, and, unfortunately, I’m Russian” – quoted Rodchenkova Deutchlandfunk.
Also the informant WADA noted that in the country nothing has changed.
“The mentality of Russians remained the same. Deception, lies and denial. The international Federation said that in Russia, much has changed, but this is propaganda. Because officials are afraid of losing their seats,” added Rodchenkov.
Recall that the accusations against Russia began after the first films on the TV channel ARD, where Rodchenkov testified about the existence of a doping program. Later, Professor Richard McLaren headed the independent Commission of WADA, which resulted in a number of investigations and disqualifications of Russian athletes, which led to the ouster of the national team from the Olympics-2018 in Pyeongchang.
