At the site “Kapustin Yar” has tested a new missile for “Iskander”

At the site “Kapustin Yar” passed the interdepartmental tests of the new missile for missile complex “Iskander”. This was stated by the head of the landfill, major-General Oleg Kislov. An interview with him published on the official website of the Ministry of defence of the Russian Federation.

The test was one of the most significant events that took place at the site recently, said Kislov. Just today at the site are tested on 160 subjects in the interests of the Russian Armed forces.

Wednesday, October 18, the landfill “Kapustin Yar” celebrates anniversary: on this day 70 years ago there was first launched ballistic missile long-range A-4.

Earlier Kislov has told about work on creation of promising missile complex silo-based missiles, which are now the strategic Missile forces.
