The German foreign Ministry reported that the situation with the supply of gas turbines of the German company Siemens in the Crimea may affect German-Russian relations, writes with reference to the representative of the German foreign office, the newspaper Bild am Sonntag.
About the same time the Federal government of Germany, as noted by the publication, warned the Russian side.
First, as recalled by the newspaper, became aware of the fact that the President of Russia Vladimir Putin last year during a meeting with foreign Minister of Germany Sigmar Gabriel, who at the time held the position of head of the Ministry of economy and energy of Germany, promised him “personally” to make sure that the Siemens turbine will not be used in the Crimea. About it then, citing people familiar with the situation sources told German magazine Wirtschaftswoche.
