In Lomonosov Moscow state University established a national center for digital economy, as a complete unit it will work in the fall of 2017.

The main objective of the center will become a scientific and scientific-methodical support of the digital economy in Russia, as well as proper training.
The centre has already prepared a proposal for the formation of digital space, of the EEU, the international conferences on digital technologies relevant to all the EEU and Russia in particular.
The coordination Council of the centre was composed of the deans and Directors of faculties and institutes of MSU, and management of other scientific and educational organizations, as well as representatives of authorities.
“Now the correct line is taken to create a digital economy in Russia. Moscow University has great potential on this issue, we attracted good scientists, including academicians, and soon will be able to give concrete results,” – said the rector of Moscow state University Viktor Sadovnichy.
At last, Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting of the Board for strategic development and priority projects have included a digital economy in a list of the main directions of development of Russia till 2025.
