The press Secretary of Arbitration court of Moscow Elena Fortunatova told RBC that the statement of “Ugra” was registered on July 24. Details and the subject of the claim are not specified, notes TASS.
Recall that on 10 July, the Central Bank introduced the “Yugra” an interim administration for six months, and the moratorium on satisfaction of requirements of creditors for three months. The regulator is reported to detect signs of unreliable statements of the Bank, as well as about the possible withdrawal of the Bank’s assets and the handling of deposits.
The Deposit insurance Agency (DIA) estimated the volume of insurance payments to depositors of “Ugra” in a record amount of 172.5 billion virtually any. Thus, the Fund of the Agency remained unused only 163 billion. The General Director of DIA Yuri Isaev did not rule out the possibility that the organization will have to contact the Bank for a loan.
Hours before the start of insurance payments to depositors of the “Ugra” the Prosecutor General’s office challenged the legitimacy of the actions of the Central Bank. The Supervisory Agency explained that the checks had not revealed any violations by the management of the credit institution.
The Prosecutor”s office also noted that the introduction of temporary administration in the Bank will result in damage to the Federal budget, reduce the availability of credit to small and medium businesses, worsen the investment climate in Russia, and also will lead to accelerating inflation.
Nevertheless, despite the protest of Genprokurora July 20, some agent banks have begun payments in accordance with the schedule, in particular VTB24 and Sberbank.
